A new journey

I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a new camera.  After a lot of research, I decided to go down the Micro four thirds route due to the size whilst having all the bells and whistles of a full DSLR.  Here is an example of what I've achieved so far.

This was taken by claimping the camera to the fence next to one of my feeders in the garden using an octopus style mini tripod (the type with bendy legs) and using the iPad as a remote control.  This way I could keep back so as not to scare the birds off.  The lens was a Sigma Art series 60mm prime focus.

I think this is the best photo I've taken so far and pretty excited to what I'll shoot in the future.
